Yaricel Fuentes
Hello, I’m Yaricel Fuentes, owner and director of “RAYITOS DE SOL.”
I consider myself a passionate educator. I was born in Cuba, where I earned a bachelor’s degree in Spanish.
In 2015, I immigrated to the United States. The following year, I began working with children in daycares and preschools, discovering that working with children has always been my true passion.
Driven by this calling, in 2022 I decided to open my own childcare service, thus realizing my dream of providing quality education.
I am firmly committed to the holistic development of children, for which I have undertaken master’s degrees in child and adolescent psychology, as well as international training in Montessori pedagogy.
In addition to my professional dedication, I am the mother of two children who live with me, which enriches my understanding and empathy for the needs of children and their families.
For me, the world of children is a magical fantasy, where every day I learn and am enriched by the purity and authenticity of children, feeling a special and deep love for them.
Throughout my career, I have developed essential skills for early childhood education, such as:
• Empathy and effective communication: the ability to understand and connect emotionally with children, as well as communicate clearly and appropriately to their developmental level.
• Creativity and adaptability: the ability to design innovative activities and adapt to each child’s individual needs, promoting meaningful learning. • Organization and planning: the ability to structure the educational environment and daily activities, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment.
• Patience and resilience: the ability to remain calm and persevere in the face of challenges that arise in early childhood education.
• Observation and assessment: the ability to identify each child’s progress and areas for improvement, adapting educational strategies as needed.
These skills allow me to offer a comprehensive and personalized education, ensuring the well-being and optimal development of each child in our care.
Being with children is the most beautiful thing, as it provides the opportunity to positively influence their lives and witness their growth and development. This deep and meaningful connection with children not only enriches my work as an educator but also provides me with incomparable personal satisfaction.
Beisy Fuentes Ruiz
Hello, I’m Beisy Fuentes Ruiz, Cuban by birth and deeply passionate about child care and well-being. In Cuba, I worked as a school nurse, providing care and support to children, a job I always considered special and rewarding. Working with children has been, for me, one of the most beautiful experiences, as their joy, curiosity, and tenderness fill each day with meaning.
In 2022, I arrived in the United States with the hope of continuing to grow personally and professionally. From the beginning, I knew I wanted to continue working with children, as it is where I truly find my passion. I started as an assistant at Rayitos de Sol, a space where I discovered a new way to support the learning and development of young children. With effort and dedication, I continued to improve and prepare myself until I became a teacher, an achievement that fills me with pride.
Today, I am a teacher at Rayitos de Sol, where every day is an opportunity to learn, teach, and share with children. My work allows me to foster their creativity, independence, and socio-emotional skills, providing them with a safe, loving, and nurturing environment.
My skills with children include patience, empathy, and the ability to connect with them with respect and affection. I love creating dynamics that motivate them to explore, discover, and develop their full potential.
Being part of early childhood education is more than a profession; it’s a vocation that makes me happy every day. Seeing children’s growth, their smiles, and their achievements motivates me to continue learning and giving my best to accompany them in this beautiful stage of their lives.
Yalila Rosales Rodríguez
Hello, I’m Yalila Rosales Rodríguez, Cuban by birth and deeply passionate about childcare and education. In Cuba, I studied medicine, a career that allowed me to help people and provide them with the care they needed. However, I always felt a special connection with children, which led me to work in a pediatric hospital, where I discovered the immense satisfaction of supporting their development and well-being.
A year and a half ago, I arrived in the United States and, like many immigrants, faced new challenges and opportunities. I initially worked in a restaurant, but my heart was always with children. Although I knew it wouldn’t be an easy path, I didn’t want to give up my passion. With determination and hard work, life gave me the opportunity to join Rayitos de Sol, where I currently work as a preschool teacher.
Being part of Rayitos de Sol has been an enriching experience that has allowed me to grow professionally and reaffirm my love for early childhood education. Every day, children inspire me with their curiosity, creativity, and joy, and motivate me to continue learning and improving. Therefore, I decided to continue my academic training and am currently taking university classes to become a certified teacher.
My skills with children include patience, empathy, and the ability to create a safe and stimulating environment where they can explore and learn with confidence. I enjoy designing activities that foster their holistic development, stimulating their imagination, autonomy, and social skills.
Working with children not only makes me feel happy but also fills me with purpose and satisfaction. Seeing their growth, their smiles, and their daily achievements is the greatest reward. I am committed to providing them with a quality education and continuing to prepare myself to give them the best I can.
